Nicovape® Q is safe for air travel and complies with international lithium-ion battery safety standards.
In Australia, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) has advised that e-cigarettes are restricted to carry-on luggage only, and you must not package them in checked baggage.
Due to pressurisation changes in aeroplane cabins, previously opened Nicovape® Q Cartridges may be prone to leakage during the flight.
To avoid this, Liber recommends:
- Keeping opened Nicovape® Q Cartridges in an upside-down orientation, where possible.
- Disconnect the opened Nicovape® Q Cartridges from your Nicovape® Q Device and keep the Nicovape® Q Cartridge in a piece of absorbent tissue.
- If the Nicovape® Q Device and Nicovape® Q Cartridges are connected, engage the puff-activation lock by tapping the USB-C port five times.
Using and charging e-cigarettes is not permitted onboard any commercial aircraft in Australia.
